New Series Release: Sacred Circle

Updated: Nov 24

I’m thrilled to finally announce the online launch of my latest series of original paintings and print reproductions, coming Friday, October 25 at 12pm EST to my collector's list! This series is unlike any I’ve created before—it features the highest concentration of natural pigments to date, lovingly sourced from the world around me.

Thank you for your patience these past few weeks as I feel like I've been coming down from the moon! Perhaps this is appropriate, as my latest series of paintings feature a circle motif, reinforcing a calendar year in which community (and the solar eclipse!) has played a prominent role.

With nature's bounty on full display this fall, I couldn't choose just one natural color, so this series includes

  • Three versions of Goldenrod (harvested at the beginning, middle, and end of the season)

  • Buckthorn Berry Ink

  • Wild Grape Ink

  • Orange Ochre Rock

  • Charcoal from the Sacred Circle fire pit at Spirit in Nature Paths

Every natural pigment color holds a story and is connected to a place and time. This series could write a book of tales about the adventures I had harvesting berries along the sides of gravel roads, of experimenting with how to create the best colors from flowers, of meeting friends old and new and sharing stories over the fire. I can't wait to share more of these special moments with you through this artwork.

Early Access for Collectors

Valued collectors have the opportunity to access the series 24 hours before the public. Early access begins Friday, October 25, at 12pm EST exclusively for subscribers (they receive a password via email). The collection will launch to the public the following day on Saturday, October 26th at 12pm EST. Join the Collector's List for early access.

Tune in to social media for more sneak peeks leading up to the launch and to preview the work so you don’t miss your chance to own an original piece from this very special collection. Remember that original works often sell before the series launches to the public, so make sure you log in early to claim your favorite piece.

Thank you for supporting my journey and embracing the beauty of art that honors our natural world. I can’t wait to share these new works with you soon!

With gratitude,

-Mira
