Big exciting news! I’m teaming up with the Middlebury Area Land Trust in support of local trail recovery efforts after the recent flooding in Vermont.
As you may already know, I create contemporary abstract paintings inspired by the Trail Around Middlebury, many of them even named after specific sections of the TAM. This Saturday, August 12th from 10am-5pm EST I am donating 25% of all artwork sales to support the rehabilitation of damaged local trails. Connecting with these trails has given me so much over the years, and I'm ready to give back!
There are two ways you can participate:
In-Person: I’ll be at a pop-up gallery event at Next Chapter Farm*, Saturday, August 12th from 10am-5pm, doing some live painting and talking about my work. Stop by to view paintings in person, or to learn about MALT membership and TAM Patch Program. This pop-up gallery has been up for a couple weeks now, and I’ve gotten a great response to this unique viewing experience, as you can see paintings and a beautiful view of the mountains at the same time. The farm stand also has antiques, furniture, and handmade goods for sale, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. 25% of all artwork sales from the day’s event will be donated to MALT.
Online: If you’re not able to make the in-person event, 25% of all online artwork sales made Saturday, August 12th from 10am-5pm EST will also benefit the trails. Check out available works early, as items may sell quickly during the event. www.growinginprocess.com
*Next Chapter Farm is located at 2571 US-7. It is just south of the Middlebury Studio School. You will see a “Farm Stand” sign, with an “OPEN” flag. Pull in the drive–there will be someone there to greet you and show you to the farm stand.
Thank you for your continued support of my work AND the trails that make our community so special!
