Vermont Art & Wine: Lincoln Peak Vineyard & Growing In Process are Teaming Up!

Exciting News: My Work is now adorning the walls at Lincoln Peak Vineyard!

Lincoln Peak is a truly special landmark of Central Vermont. The summer concerts here are legendary, but the quiet cozy vibe of the winter months is not to be underestimated.

As she stokes the fire in the corner wood stove, the afternoon sun bouncing off the ice-covered pond and through the windows, Nicole, one of the Vineyard's new owners, shares with me about her love of winemaking, the outdoors, and family. Though she's from California originally (her husband Kevin is the native Vermonter), it's clear she fits right in here in Vermont. Its also clear that the pair know a LOT about winemaking.

We discuss the tannins in grape skins and compare notes on why we think certain grapes might make better inks than others. While neither of us have ever painted with wine before, we are excited to try (I mean, I've definitely painted with wild grape ink...how different could it be??).

But I'm getting ahead of myself. For now, I’m thrilled to announce that a selection of my current artwork is on display at Lincoln Peak Vineyard. The collection of artwork displayed brings together pieces inspired by Vermont’s natural beauty, the changing seasons, and the vibrant colors of our local landscapes. I chose pieces that I thought looked best in the space and spoke to the different shapes and colors of the interior. Stop by, check out your favorite piece in person, and have a glass of locally produced wine!

Looking Ahead: A Special Collaboration This Fall

Soon, a new series of paintings will begin, featuring the stories of this specific vineyard and the people who shape it. Without giving too much away just yet, I can tell you it will combine the creative process of art with the vineyard’s rich connection to nature and community. Vermont art & wine couldn't possibly be a better combination. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the growing season—this is something you won’t want to miss. Make sure you are on my collector's list so you don't miss updates, or, if you stop by the winery in person, fill out a connect card and enter to win a free print!

What could pair better than local Vermont art & wine?? Thank you for your support and encouragement as I share my art in such an inspiring space. I hope to see you soon at the vineyard!
