This painting was created as part of the "Mud Season" Collection. Inspired by walks in the woods and the hardest parts of the journey, this collection helps me to remember that difficult roads lead to beautiful views.
 
This piece had foundational washes made of earth pigment placed in studio, and then was completed outdoors in conversation with the woods.
