This gestural mark captures a moment of change and transformation, as inspired by the colors at peak foliage in fall. The title suggests the movement and energy of a leaf’s journey from sky to earth.
 
This painting is part of the Fall ‘24 ‘Sacred Circle’ series. The paintings in this series were inspired by the Spirit in Nature paths in Ripton, Vermont during peak fall foliage. They contain pigments foraged during that same fall season, including sacred circle charcoal, goldenrod, buckthorn berry, wild grape, and orange ochre rock. 
 
This archival fine art print captures the same beautiful color of the original pigments but will not change over time.
